A client wrote to me a few weeks back with an update to her story. I’m very keen on making sure clients get the tools they need to lead safe happy passionate lives so was delighted to hear how she was getting on.
When she first met me this lady simply wanted a relationship that worked, but because she was stuck without knowing in a ‘protect me’ identity she had spent years in fear attracting men that were attracted to that fearful version of her.
Inevitably this meant her relationships were full of trouble for her. As a result she became very good at being single and very wary of relationships.
She had had enough, she had spoken with a few counsellors who had told her to focus on being positive and happy being single, and then it would all fall into place.
I totally disagreed with that approach and when she called me she was stunned at what I told her. Use the links below to read her story and what stunned her.
Here is her follow up story.
It has been 5+ years since we last spoke and I wanted to give you an update to my story.
After definitely kissing too many frogs I did meet my prince after all (well Oak tree!) and I got married last month on my 50th birthday! I have a wonderful family life now with 2 step children & I often still follow your road map techniques and this has stood me in good stead.
My husband is absolutely my oak tree – he really is there for all of us and many challenges seem to disappear once we get our heads together.
We also moved into my perfect home at the end of last year. You may remember, other than wanting to meet someone to share my life with I always wanted something very very old and now we have a beautiful Elizabethan home full of history & full of oak beams. I knew instantly we saw it that the oak was a sign!
Thank you once again, your programme really helped make things seem far easier than I had thought possible. Amazing what I have achieved in just 5 years since my first meeting with you vs. the 45 years that had gone before! …… For once, money well spent and the rewards are priceless.
With many best wishes
