Thomas and his wife had good reason to assume their relationship was over. To the point where sitting and sharing the same room was a challenge for both of them. This is a typical example of how easy it is to get into trouble based on assumptions. With the right attention many couples can build trust and love back into the relationship and create a wonderful vison for the future again.
Thomas shares his thought’s…
My wife and I spent Christmas 2010 on different continents due to communication breakdown and suspicions of infidelity. Mutual resentments that had built up over time led to each of us seeking attention and reassurance from people outside our marriage. I was prepared to move out of our home after the new year, but my wife suggested that we try seeing Stephen Hedger. After browsing his website and emailing Stephen a few times, I agreed to see him for one session.
At the beginning of our first session, my wife and I were uncomfortable in each other’s presence, but Stephen got us talking about why we had come: because we wanted to put the past behind us and sort out our marriage. My wife and I each shared what was important to us as individuals, and I made some surprising discoveries about who she is and the way she operates emotionally. Most importantly, we were able to create a shared goal for the future that we are excited about and can work towards together.
After a few sessions, we already felt much happier and more secure with each other, but spent time with Stephen going through each of our childhood experiences. Doing this, I started to understand that many of my and my wife’s personality “quirks” are actually the result of stressful childhood experiences. Now I feel like I understand my wife’s past, present and future.
Thank you, Stephen. Without your help, I don’t know where we would have been.
Couples that are successful are the ones who commit to the session both during their time with me and whilst they are away. With me they discovered the truth and were 100% committed to their goal to discover if a wonderful future could be theirs…
