A young lady came to me this week stuck in her past, she had become depressed because she couldn’t get over how she had been treated by her ex. He had left her for another woman and with no money. Her ex was still with the same woman 2.5 years later and was living a wonderful life and now planning a family.
Meanwhile she was stuck depressed and full of resentment for how he treated her, she wanted to forget him, but felt that she couldn’t.
She was so traumatised by what had happened she had stayed stuck for 2.5 years. Fed up of life always feeling so bad she called me.
She came to me with a clear goal. She wanted to forget about her ex, re connect with the core her and create a new and exciting life.
She had been on a few dates, but she felt men were not interested in her.
Life had become hell for her, she felt out of control of her feelings and her emotions.
During her session with me I helped her to understand that she was creating everything she felt. Step by step I showed her what she had to do to be able to become depressed. I help her see why the depression and low moods were so attractive to her.
In essence she had become addicted to her own depression without knowing.
As the session unfolded she suddenly realised that if she was creating all of her feelings then she was actually in control.
She noticed during the session that she could go in and out of depression within seconds.
This was exciting news for her…
In this new and exciting state we created the future she really wanted.
In the session she committed 1000% to her new life and herself.
She contacted me a few days later to say how the world felt totally different, she had given up smoking and was now running at 6 in the morning.
Plus she had no space to think about her ex and what he had done anymore, for the first time in years she felt free.
In this one session she gave up her old story and fired up everything she valued and gave it to herself.
- After all if she did not think she was worth being valued and special then obviously no one else would.
