What an amazing year… Sitting day-after-day in front of couples in real crisis is not something many people would want to do.
However, when you see the results I see of couples reconnecting, it’s such an amazing feeling knowing you have helped another family avoid the hideous process of divorce, especially when children are involved. It’s those moments I live for…
Here’s what was interesting, as I’m working with all these couples, a common message has been repeatedly communicated.
They say “…we should have come to see you years ago.”
What these couples are seeing through the process of really understanding their relationship is, they have spent a lot of time feeling bad and emotional disconnected because they were missing key information. Information that if known would have change their lives and helped them avoided many of the problems they were facing today.
So as I’m listening to these couples focused on their lost years, it struck me that maybe a program could be created for couples who want to learn how to create powerfully secure connections with each other.
Maybe I could create a program for couples who weren’t in crisis. Maybe a program could be created for couples who are simply passionate about ensuring their future together and taking their relationship to a new and much deeper level.
So my thoughts were this. I see so many couples who are at the point of divorce. I could not only help couples avoid the hidden challenges that takes so many couples to breaking point, I could help them understand how to create a connection they could never get to on their own.
I could also create the program so it is tailor made for that couple and their specific dynamic.
This got me excited, because now couples would be armed to show their children how to connect in a secure relationship. So now their children would be armed for a future of relationship success.
